Help Pass the South Carolina Farm to School Bill: Get Local Food in SC School Cafeterias

Thanks in part to CFSA South Carolina members, the SC Farm to School Bill has passed the House of Representatives without any amendments, and now is in the Senate, where it’s been referred to the Education Committee. Statistics show that if committee members receive 6-7 calls on a particular bill they note it as "high importance" or "favorable." Please contact the members of the Education Committee listed below, particularly if you reside in his or her district. Calls to Senator Courson, the chair of the committee, from people anywhere in the state are also critical to pushing this bill over the hump and on to Gov. Sanford’s desk.
