The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) and Whole Foods Market invite you and your family to experience the wonders of the Triangle’s local and organic farms and gardens.

When you get out and tour, good things happen.

It’s real! See real, working farms and meet real, hardworking farmers who live near you. Touch a baby goat. Smell sweet clover. Taste just-picked fruit.

It’s about stories! Hear first-hand the illuminating stories of farmers and their families. How they use their wits and ingenuity to grow healthy food without chemicals. Hear about the personal challenges of being a family farmer today.

It’s learning! See the latest organic and sustainable techniques that are producing great food. Learn about nutrition. Pick up tips for your home garden or chicken coop.

Last, but not least . . . It’s for kids! Let your kids see where their food comes from. Turn Ole McDonald into something real for them. Get them introduced to organics. And, of course, kids really, really love seeing farm animals!

So, fill up the car or hop on your bike, and come out to the countryside. You’ll be very glad that you did!

Wishing you good touring,
