Food Projects

CFSA now provides Food Projects Consulting Services to develop and build Sustainable Community Food Projects across the Carolinas.

With Food Projects, CFSA fosters and supports collaborative efforts to expand the storage, processing, distribution, and marketing of local, organic crops. This type of local and regional collaboration develops new businesses that provide jobs, increases access to local, organic foods, and helps the local food community avoid piecemeal approaches that waste resources.

CFSA is excited to announce that a total of eight projects—four in North Carolina and four in South Carolina—have been selected to receive consulting services.
