Our program areas include:
- Local Food Marketing to promote the benefits of local, organic agriculture and connect growers and consumers, the
- Organic Carolinas Initiative to provide a comprehensive approach to building the organic agriculture community in the Carolinas, the
- Local Produce Safety Initiative to help small, low-input farms ensure produce safety and compliance to federal standards, and
- Food Projects – including Eastern Carolina Organics, Carolina Ground, Cobblestone Farmers Markets, and Saving Our Seed– to start up small-scale projects that build local food infrastructure and increase access to sustainable, organic foods.
