ACCOMMODATIONS & DIRECTIONS

CONFERENCE LOCATION & DIRECTIONS: The location for the 2010 Conference is in the Twin City Quarter located at 425 North Cherry St., Winston-Salem (tel: 336-725-3500). We will use meeting spaces at the Marriott and Embassy Suites, which are adjacent to the main convention center downtown.

ACCOMODATION INFORMATION: CFSA has reserved a block of rooms in the Marriott in downtown Winston-Salem. You must reserve your room by Nov 9 to receive the CFSA group rate of $95/night. Marriot reservation line: 1-800-320-0934.

HOST PROGRAM:
Staying at a local farm or with a local resident can help you reduce travel expenses and make the conference more affordable and memorable. If you live in Winston or the Piedmont Triad area and would like to offer your home and/or farm as a host site, or if you need a place to stay, please email Cheryl or call 919-542-2402. CFSA members can also use the CFSA listservs to make these arrangements.

TRANSPORTATION:
AIRPORT: Although Winston does have a small airport, the best airport to use is the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro (Airport Code: GSO).

AMTRAK: The closest Amtrak station is in Greensboro. Buy tickets

BUS SERVICE: Greyhound, Winston-Salem Transit, and PART all serve Winston-Salem with stops downtown.

CARPOOL: CFSA encourages all conference attendees to carpool! Feel free to use the CFSA member listservs to request and offer rides.
