When sampling soil, it’s important to collect a uniform sample in order to receive accurate results.

Whether you’re collecting a sample from a 10-acre production field, pasture, or your backyard we have a few simple recommendations to help you take a correct soil sample. However, before starting, be sure to read the specific requirements for your chosen soil testing laboratory, as each lab will have sampling and packaging rules you should adhere to.

Happy sampling!
