Farm Description

Edible Landscapes, LLC is a new farm of 16 acres in Lancaster, SC, composed of 3 acres cleared for vegetable production and 13 acres of mature pine, oak, and maple woodlands. There is additional acreage for lease nearby. The farm is just 35 minutes south of Charlotte, NC, with access to many busy farmer’s markets. The open area has had 4 years of cover crop growth and compost amendment and is ready to be put to use as a Market Garden.

All necessary equipment and supplies are purchased and ready to go. In addition to a Market Garden, the farm is well suited for any of the following:

• Compost Production Operation
• BioChar Production Operation
• Mushroom Operation
• Native Plant and Food Forest Nursery Operation

Job Description

The Farm Manager is a full-time position available for a self-motivated, hard-working individual. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and execute the farm plan to achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 50+ Lbs
