Green Heffa Farms is an organic herb farm, a tea company, a natural health brand, an educational resource, and a movement.

We do a lot on our 14.84 acres.
 
We seek to defy stereotypes and remove barriers for others who are turning to farming for a different quality of life; who want to live good while doing good for others by growing high quality crops with an ecological consciousness. Job Description

We are looking for passionate and dedicated harvesting assistants to join our social equity and environmentally-focused herb and specialty crop farm during the busy harvest season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have an interest in sustainable farming, and are available for early morning shifts. You will play a key role in ensuring that our herbs are harvested at their peak freshness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Harvest a variety of herbs by hand, following specific guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
Inspect and sort harvested herbs to meet our farm’s quality standards.
Assist with post-harvest tasks, such as washing, bundling, and preparing herbs for sale or processing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the fields and processing areas.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform other farm-related tasks as needed, such as weeding, planting, and general farm maintenance.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in farming, gardening, or landscaping is preferred but not required.
Ability to work early morning hours and adapt to varying weather conditions.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable transportation to and from the farm.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
