Whole Foods - 5% Day Community Giving Program

Whole Foods Market chose the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association as a recipient of its 5% Community Giving Day, on Thursday, January 10, 2018, to benefit the work that CFSA.

This means that 5% of your purchases on Thursday—across all twenty stores in North and South Carolina—will support CFSA and our work to build food systems that family farms need to thrive.

Funding supports  CFSA’s work including the new RESEED Recovery Fund that helps farmers affected by Hurricanes Florence and Michael get back on their feet. Ensuring a resilient food system is critical to the future of sustainable farming in the Carolinas.

We are thrilled to be the recipient of this event and hope that you’ll stop by your local Whole Foods Market on Thursday, January 10. You can even buy products from CFSA members like Eastern Carolina Organics, Hickory Nut Gap Farm, City Roots Farm, Grow Food Carolina, Two Chicks Farm, Norm’s Farms, and Goat Lady Dairy.

Support CFSA by grocery shopping in stores on Thursday and share your excitement for a more vibrant food system right here at home.
