No two farms on the farm tour are the same. Some have covered wagon tours, and others have u-pick strawberries, baby goats, or demonstrations. Some have farm-fresh ingredients you can buy to take home for dinner, and others have seedlings for your own garden. Some can teach you about pasture-based livestock systems, and at others you can learn about high tunnel production, native plants, or mushroom growing.

At least fourteen farms will have plants for sale:

Mushroom “Crab Cakes” – Haw River Mushrooms will have the farm’s signature mushroom “crab cakes” made with lion’s mane mushrooms!
Farm-Fresh Meals – Minka Farm will have Burrito Bistro featuring ground beef from their farm.
Food Truck – Little Way Farm will host Handcrafted from 12-2 pm on Sunday. Handcrafted will serve beef brisket, pulled pork, Manganero Beer pork hot dogs, and Halfsmoke beef/pork hot dogs—all with meat provided by Little Way Farms animals.
Cheese – Boxcarr Farms will have hard and soft cheeses made from cow’s and goat’s milk.
Ice Cream – Elodie Farms will have goat’s milk ice cream, Haw River Mushrooms will offer soft-serve ice cream from Ran-Lew Dairy.
Cider + Pizza – Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm will have beverages from their on-site cidery, Botanist + Barrel, and serving wood-fired pizza made with only locally-sourced ingredients!
Brews – PlowGirl Farm is home to Dingo Dog Brewery, a zero-waste nonprofit craft brewery.
